North africa community

After Mr Ali Tahiri left Microsoft North-Africa, no more dotnet community activities, today I were surprised that dotnet-Morocco site does not work any more, It has been long time that we didn't heard about a community meeting, now the site is closed. It is really a pity to make an end to that hard work of Arabs developers, all that articles and posts vaporized!
I hope is not the collaboration end of these North Africa people passionate by IT and Microsoft technologies.

Today, I'am MVP

I had just awaked up, still in my bed, I took my PC, checking my mails, I learned that I was elected Microsoft most valuable profesionnal for the second time, good news :)..
I hope that this year will be better than the first one, by creating more small realizations for this big world. Thanks to Younes, Ali & all my friends!..

ISV days and MSDN at casablanca

Yesterday I assist to ISV days and MSDN in Anfa hotel at casablanca. In the morning, we discuss about MS partners models and benefits.
The afternoon was more interesting, lots of technical articles were exposed, but the major theme talk about WinFX. Presented by Ali Tahiri, Younes Ouhbi and alain lompot, for me that was a good occasion to know about windows workflow foundation, windows presentation foundation and windows vista.

I'am MVP

Yesterday I received the mail that I am now officially a Microsoft MVP (Most Valuable Professional) in Visual Developer - ASP/ASP.NET. This is a good news, I want by this occaion to thank the people who supported my nomination.

I will be even more motivated to make more contributions to the community.

Tuesday February 28, 2006 was one evening very special, I carried out a presentation, with younes, at TechnoPark Casablanca, the environment was very owl, that gave me great pleasure of feeling active in the Moroccan community.

we talked about innovations of Visual studio 2005 and asp.net 2. We had presented the new contôls offered by this version, who extremement make the task fast and productive for developers, estimated in particular at 70%.

some demos also has beeen prensented to public of DatView, security controls, administration, Theme & skin, master page....

we also treated the new functionalities of the environement visual studio 2005, like : Refactring, Code View Definition, SmartTags, CodeSnippet, Enhanced Datatips...
I will try progressively to develop that on my blog.

at the end, we presented the .net sommunity web wite (new version), i will leave this topic because i wil talk about it on détails :)

Ready to Rock the Code!

Today it was a great day, I attended the world launching of SQL2005, VS2005 and BizTalk2006, I also took part as a member representing of the Moroccan community.Net.
I spent a few moments of the day explaining to the visitors what it is and for what is used, while wearing a super Microsoft Tee-shirt. You can see on the picture from left to right Younes, abdelhak and I :

The meeting of the morning started with a global presentation of the solutions, while insisting on the solutions integration strategy taked by Microsoft.

After midday, I attended the 3 meetings of Anis chabbi, Microsoft consultant, sincerely it was successful, I liked his passion for the things which it presents. Indeed he spoke about biztalk 2006, then the new "Service broker" of SQL2005, which the goal is to integrate service solutions oriented architecture with SQLserver, and finally a presentation of integration services, analysis services and reporting services.
